Snowflake Cortex is a fully managed service that enables organizations to discover, analyze, and build AI applications in the Data Cloud. It provides access to industry-leading AI models, LLMs (large language models), and vector search functionality, making it easy to securely run LLMs inside Snowflake.

Snowflake Cortex is designed to help streamline the development of data-driven applications, use cases, AI and ML models, and foundation models from Snowpark. It is available in private preview as of November 2023.
