Foot Traffic Patterns is a dataset containing aggregated foot traffic metrics to individual points-of-interest (POI), including visits and unique visitors, where else they also visit, median distance from home, median dwell time and more. Entire US dataset contains metrics for over 4 million POI. This dataset is updated weekly; each record represents foot traffic for a specific POI for the indicated Monday-Sunday week. All SafeGraph POI-based datasets utilize Placekey (https://www.placekey.io/) as the primary key and are formatted as delimited CSVs. SafeGraph updates the Patterns dataset every week or month (depending on client subscription) with the past week/month’s foot traffic, based on the POI in the latest release of the Core Places dataset, and maintains a persistent Placekey across releases. Our detailed Patterns Schema* is available online. Additionally please refer to Patterns Manual* for more detailed field definitions and methodologies. For any questions about this dataset or any other, please contact snowflake@safegraph.com.
